Welcome to the Singapore Life Panel Data Dictionary Repository

The Singapore Life Panel ® (SLP) is a nationally representative study of Singaporean older adults aged 50 to 70 years, and our primary research purpose at Singapore Management University (SMU) is to understand and enhance the holistic well-being of older adults as Singapore transits into a super-ageing society. We have collected high-frequency (mostly monthly) longitudinal data to track dynamic changes in health, work, housing, and financial choices among older Singaporeans over time. Our research impact goals aim to inform policymakers and community stakeholders on effective ways to promote successful ageing and to redesign retirement and support systems, such as ageing-in-place.
